Greg’s Story

My brother Greg was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of colorectal cancer at 47 and he died one year later. It was stage 4 when he was diagnosed and the news went from bad to worse with every appointment and treatment. I lost my only sibling. I was unprepared to become an only child at 50. I still mourn for everything the future would have held with my brother in it. He left behind his young wife, and his 10 and 12-year-old daughters. Getting screened at 45 may have saved his life.
