Toutefois, le m\u00e9canisme mol\u00e9culaire impliqu\u00e9 dans cette action demeure incertain.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e r\u00e9cemment dans la revue <em>Science<\/em> d\u00e9montre que trois souches bact\u00e9riennes \u00e9taient en mesure d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de drogues immunoth\u00e9rapeutiques dans des mod\u00e8les de cancer chez la souris. Une bact\u00e9rie intestinale, en particulier, la <em>Bifidobacterium psudolongum<\/em>, \u00e9tait en mesure de le faire par la production d\u2019une substance (m\u00e9tabolite) appel\u00e9e inosine. \u00c0 cause de la diminution du fonctionnement de la barri\u00e8re intestinale (la capacit\u00e9 de la muqueuse intestinale de retenir le contenu de l\u2019intestin tout en pr\u00e9servant celle d\u2019absorber les nutriments) qui survient durant les traitements d\u2019immunoth\u00e9rapie, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que l\u2019inosine passe \u00e0 travers la barri\u00e8re intestinale et active les cellules T anti-tumorales. Les cellules T sont un type sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de cellules immunitaires.
