Interview: Jason from Man Up to Cancer

Jason Abramovitch is an early age onset stage 3b colon cancer survivor who received his diagnosis and underwent treatments in Ottawa Ontario, amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. In search of virtual support throughout his experience, Jason came across an online community: Man Up to Cancer; exclusively for men who have been touched by cancer. He credits this community with having gotten him through some very trying times as it united him with other men going through similar experiences and removed the stigma of men reaching out for emotional support.
